WHO DID WE WORK WITH?

Verfgroothandel.nl is the online webshop for the purchase of paint for boat, house, and garden. Since 2016 we have been working together with the webshop to achieve online growth.

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN DOING?

In this online marketing project the focus is on increasing online sales. We use SEA, SEO and CRO to achieve the desired objectives.

WHAT DID WE ACCOMPLISH?

After several years of stagnation and even a drop in turnover, growth was again achieved for the paint wholesale trade. This without any loss in return.

Use of online marketing

After several years of stagnating turnover, Verfgroothandel.nl set itself the objective of maintaining the return and not allowing the turnover to fall any further. In order to achieve this, we have entered into a long process with Verfgroothandel.nl. After mapping out the current situation, we discovered various bottlenecks that made growth difficult for the webshop. By deploying SEO, SEA, and CRO, we have lifted these blockages and again achieved growth.

Effect of online marketing

We were the first to tackle SEA for paint wholesalers. To find out what would work best, we applied different strategies to different campaigns. After three weeks, we analysed results and applied the winning strategy to all campaigns. The winning strategy had 57% lower costs, increased the conversion rate by 332% and increased sales by 56%. The strategy also resulted in a ROAS increase of 262%.

CRO WITH GOOGLE SMART SHOPPING

The transition to Google SMART Shopping and the setting up of the Google Shopping feed resulted in a significant increase in turnover, conversion rate and return on investment. All in all, the optimisations have had an enormous effect on the result. In total, Google Shopping turnover increased by 110%, conversion rate by 20%, ROAS by 12% and the number of sessions by 67%!

By first carrying out thorough analyses and setting priorities, we have managed to turn the tide for Paint Wholesaler. In the years following the start, we have not stopped analysing and optimising. By continuously working on various marketing services, ranging from SEA and Google Shopping to SEO and CRO - we have seen Paint Wholesale grow for 4 years in a row.
