A CHALLENGING OMNI-CHANNEL PROJECT WITH ON- AND OFFLINE SUCCESS.

Who did we work with?

Welkoop is the store for garden and animal supplies. In addition to their online webshop, the chain has more than 150 stores throughout the Netherlands.

What have we been doing?

A challenging omni-channel project. With an appropriate online strategy, we elevated both Welkoop's webshop and offline stores to a higher level.

What did we accomplish?

The results are remarkable: a turnover increase of 114% for the webshop, 224% turnover growth in Google Ads and an increase of no less than 314% in offline shop visits.

Full funnel approach

How do you make Welkoop - a successful company with 150 stores - an online success? In order to get more results from both the webshop and all the stores, it was important to coordinate the offline and online activities of Welkoop much better. A concrete strategy, making full use of the full funnel and responding to offline activities online in the right way, achieved no less than 114% more online turnover and 7% more offline revenue.

Google Smart Shopping

Google Shopping campaigns helped us to create rapid online growth. With a share of only 6% of the total webshop revenue, we have automated Google Shopping. By completely switching to Google Smart Shopping, the return increased by more than 400%! Meanwhile, Google Shopping has a share of 15% in the total revenue of the webshop.

Online to Offline

The goal of this omnichannel project is to better align the online and offline activities of Welkoop. The result

By shifting part of the offline activities to online, much more reach has been created digitally for Welkoop. This has led to an increase in both online and offline sales. By responding to online and offline promotions with Google Ads, the number of physical and webshop visits has also increased. With greater support for digital marketing and the O2O transition, we have achieved an online revenue increase of 114% and an offline revenue increase of 7%.
